Job Summary:

Optimum Recruit is seeking an experienced Workshop Planner to join their existing team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating workshop activities, managing the CRM system, and ensuring all works are scheduled on time.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate all workshop activities through the CRM system, including machining works, fabrication, callout site work, and refurbishment works.
  • Manage the CRM system to ensure all works are scheduled on time and meet business KPIs.
  • SOURCE materials from suppliers, produce purchase orders, and manage deliveries to ensure timely arrival of materials required for scheduled jobs.
  • Manage goods in and out, ensuring all materials are labelled to associated works and deliveries are conducted and delivery notes returned.
  • Work closely with the workshop supervisor for scheduling purposes and conduct daily and weekly planning meetings to ensure business objectives are met.
  • Analyze turnover based on actuals jobs versus potentials and ensure business KPIs are met.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have experience in workshop planning and coordination, with strong organizational and communication skills. They will be able to work effectively in a team environment and have a strong attention to detail.
