Senior Estimator Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join our team at Hunter Mason Consulting. As a Senior Estimator, you will play a critical role in preparing detailed cost budgets and estimates for projects, ensuring client guidelines and specifications are adhered to.

The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing detailed proposals, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and managing junior estimators. Additionally, proficiency in cost management report writing, knowledge of concrete preservation and repair, and IT literacy are essential.

We offer a competitive salary, company car, mobile phone, annual performance-related bonus, and 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays. As a full-time, permanent employee, you will also have flexible hours and remote working options.

  7. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
Senior Estimator Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  1. Experience in preparing detailed cost budgets and estimates for projects.
  2. Ability to prepare detailed proposals, ensuring client guidelines and specifications are adhered to.
  3. Experience managing junior estimators.
  4. Proficiency in cost management report writing.
  5. Knowledge of concrete preservation and repair.
  6. IT literacy, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Email.
  7. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  8. Health and safety knowledge.
