Social Worker for Children's Locality Team

Are you a skilled and experienced social worker looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a replacement for a key member of a Children's Locality Team in Greater Manchester.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team committed to providing high-quality support for children and families. You'll work within a supportive environment where agency staff are treated with the same respect and integration as permanent staff.

Key Requirements:

Experience: At least 2 years of post-qualification experience in a Children's Services role.

Skills: Confidence in handling Child Protection (CP) cases, Child in Need (CIN) cases, and Court proceedings is essential for this role.

Preferred: Experience with the Family Safeguarding Model is highly desirable, but not essential.

Role Details:

Caseload: Caseloads are well-managed with a focus on keeping them below 20 cases. Currently, the team's highest caseload is 19.

Hybrid Working: While the role offers hybrid working flexibility, we are looking for a candidate available full-time, 5 days a week. However, we are open to discussing a 9-day fortnight working pattern.
