About the Role

This is a key position that requires a strong understanding of hedge accounting activities, controls, and practices. As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that a globally consistent set of processes, controls, and IT systems for hedge accounting are implemented across the region.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Be a primary point of contact for all Hedge Accounting activities, controls, and practices in EMEA, and manage stakeholder relationships.
  • Act as a key contact point within the EMEA Regional Hedging Unit, providing SME guidance on relevant topics and ensuring global consistency.
  • Partner with the Global Treasury Business to facilitate a sustainable and efficient risk management framework.
  • Support the Regional Head of EMEA Hedging Unit in delivering a globally consistent, compliant, and future-proof hedging framework.
  • Work closely with other EMEA Hedging Unit colleagues and across the Group to integrate recommended changes and processes.
Requirements
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) or qualified by experience.
  • Prior experience in a hedge accounting role, with practical experience of applying IAS 39 and/or IFRS 9.
  • Prior Product Control and/or Treasury experience across multiple asset classes.
