About the Job:
We are seeking a skilled Courier Service Operator to join our team in Ashington. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering parcels to customers across the local community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver parcels to customers in a safe and timely manner
- Sort and gather mail at the local delivery office
- Collect allocated vehicle and hand-held computer device
- Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements:
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Relatively fit and healthy, with ability to walk long distances
- Smartly presented and professional in demeanor
Salary and Benefits:
The successful candidate will receive an hourly rate of £13.37, working up to 37 hours per week, 5 out of 7 days (including weekends). This is an excellent opportunity to earn a good income while making a positive impact in your community.
