About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Support Worker for ASD/ADHD students. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in a new Designated Unit for Autistic Young People.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with ASD and ADHD in a full-time holistic provision
- Work collaboratively with the educational and therapeutic team to provide a positive impact on students' lives
- Assist with EHCPs and provide individualized support to students
- Participate in training and additional qualifications to enhance your skills and knowledge
- Contribute to the development of a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications and training for the role
- Experience working with students with ASD and ADHD
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing high-quality support to students
