Key Responsibilities- Meal Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement menus that cater to the diverse needs of our students, ensuring that all meals are nutritious and appealing.
- Cost Management: Effectively manage kitchen expenses to ensure that costs remain within budget.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and control food stock levels, minimizing waste and ensuring that all necessary ingredients are available.
- Menu Planning and Ordering: Plan and order food in advance, taking into account dietary requirements and preferences.
- Health and Safety: Ensure that all kitchen equipment and facilities are properly maintained and that all staff and students are aware of health and safety procedures.
- Catering Experience: Proven experience in a school or similar catering environment.
- Interpersonal and Organizational Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
