Senior Manager Financial Accounting

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager in Financial Accounting to join our team on a 13-month fixed-term contract. As a key member of our finance leadership team, you will be responsible for leading a team in managing the Group's financial accounting and regulatory reporting activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team in managing the Group's financial accounting and regulatory reporting activities.
  • Maintain robust, timely, and accurate systems of financial control and external reporting.
  • Act as a business partner to teams across the society and Audit Committee members.
  • Provide expert support, advice, and challenge in relation to technical accounting queries.
  • Deliver external and statutory reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory changes.
  • Develop accounting policies, work with the audit committee, and liaise with external auditors.
  • Provide excellent leadership, coaching, and management to create a high-performing team.
Requirements:
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, FCA, ACCA or equivalent).
  • Experience in a finance leadership role.
  • Proven ability to lead a team to deliver high-quality and compliant financial management and reporting.
  • Financial control management experience.
  • Detailed understanding of finance regulation.
  • Great leadership skills and awareness of the industry and regulatory framework.
