The Role:
As a key member of the Quantity Surveying Team at Nicholas Associates Graduate Placements, you will be responsible for managing all commercial elements throughout the project lifecycle.

Your primary objective will be to minimize costs and enhance value for money, ensuring that the required standards and quality are met in accordance with contract and client expectations.

Key responsibilities include:

Identifying and addressing contractual and commercial risks and opportunities

Cost planning and contract engagement

Sourcing specified materials based on cost and quality

Attending progress meetings to respond to commercial matters raised

Liaising with the site team, supply chain, and clients' representatives

Supporting and advising the project manager in respect of contractual fulfillment

To be successful in this role, you will require:

A recent Quantity Surveying degree

Competent IT skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook

Demonstrable financial and commercial acumen

A practical approach, logical thought process, and methodical way of working

Strong analytical skills
