We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Support Officer to join our Project Management Office (PMO) team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of projects across our National Security Business Unit.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver defined PMO services to enable the Business Unit, including delivery management support, tracking and monitoring of cross-project dependencies, bid management support, and policy and process conformance.
- Coordinate the production of reports to support governance, by collating, analyzing, evaluating, and manipulating data, records, and other information. Maintain libraries, registers, and systems.
- Provide education, training, and first-line support on agreed P3M procedures, processes, and tools.
- Support senior management in championing and embedding P3M practices across the organization.
- Undertake the role of owner for one or more P3M services for the organization.
- Lead on the development and socialization of the PMO service catalogue for the Business Unit.
- Support the wider team in a mentoring capacity.
- Experience driving the development of PMO processes through requirement definition, solution development, process documentation, rollout, and benefits realization.
- Able to demonstrate a proactive approach and ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience working within a busy PMO or project delivery environment.
- Experience mentoring other team members.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform applications to support PMO service enhancement.
- Preferably an appropriate P3M qualification (P3O, APM, MoP, MSP, Prince2, etc.).
