The Ministry of Defence (Defence Medical Services) invites applications for the position of Highly Specialized Clinical Psychologist. This role is part of our team dedicated to providing exceptional psychological care to clients.
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting specialist psychological assessments, formulating and implementing treatment plans, and providing advice and consultation to other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments of clients using a range of techniques, including psychological and neuro-psychological tests, self-report measures, rating scales, and structured interviews.
- Formulating and implementing individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practice, across various care settings.
- Providing expert advice and consultation to members of the clinical team to ensure effective client care.
To be considered for this role, you must possess a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology and have significant experience working in a similar capacity. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
BenefitsThis is a full-time position, and the salary will be competitive, approximately £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to the base salary, you will be entitled to a range of benefits, including generous annual leave and pension scheme contributions.

Please note that requests to work flexibly or part-time will be considered, taking into account business needs. However, please be advised that the salary will be pro-rata where part-time hours are undertaken.
