Job Summary: Marks Sattin Executive is collaborating with a Private Equity-backed international software business that has experienced exceptional growth and is now seeking an ambitious Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team.

About the Company: Our client is a leading provider of software solutions to the global market. With a strong track record of innovation and expansion, they are now seeking a strategic CFO to drive their financial planning, analysis, and decision-making to support their ambitious growth objectives via an M&A strategy, ultimately steering the business towards a successful exit.

About the Role: As CFO, you will be a vital member of the leadership team, working closely with the CEO and executive team to shape the company's future strategy, focusing on long-term value and growth. Key responsibilities include:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Understanding revenue and cost drivers, and optimising performance to drive business growth.
  • Commercialisation: Introducing key performance indicators and strategic metrics to enhance full board reporting and drive business decisions.
  • M&A Strategy: Supporting the company's M&A strategy to drive growth and expansion.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Working closely with the CEO and executive team to shape the company's future strategy and drive business growth.

About You: We are seeking a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or ACMA) with experience as a CFO or FD looking to step into a number one role in a PE-Backed business with the Tech/SaaS and/or Related sectors. You will have a track record of defining KPIs, commercialising the business, and driving improvements in reporting. Additionally, you will have hands-on experience in successfully expanding a business into new and/or adjacent sectors.
