About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our Estates Building team at Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for performing various building maintenance duties, including basic joinery repairs, roofing repairs, and decorating patch/paint repairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general building maintenance duties, including but not limited to:
  • Basic joinery repairs
  • Roofing repairs
  • Decorating patch/paint repairs
  • Fire door PPM and maintenance repairs
  • General building repairs such as pointing and plastering
  • Lock repairs
  • uPVC window and door repairs
Person Specification
  • Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent in Maths and English
  • Current full driving licence and own transport
  • Competency in a building maintenance environment
  • Demonstrate previous experience of working in a customer-oriented environment
  • Demonstrate previous experience of working in a maintenance background
  • Demonstrate previous experience of working as a team member
  • The ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Demonstrate the ability to work flexibly to accommodate the needs of our customers
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate with customers in a polite and professional manner
Estimated Salary

The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
