Job Overview

As an Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be working with a well-established building services design consultancy, covering a range of project types including education, heritage, offices, hospitals, local authority and data centres. This role is ideal for those who enjoy a supportive and collaborative work environment, with opportunities for ongoing development and exposure to interesting and varied work.

The successful candidate will have experience in the full cycle of projects from client briefs and planning to design, supervision, and completion. You will be responsible for developing conceptual & detailed design solutions in line with client's brief, as well as carrying out detailed electrical services design and calculations using HevaComp, Amtech, IES, Dialux, and/or similar design software tools.

You will also be expected to produce electrical specifications, schedules, reports, and technical papers, and depending on your experience level, you may represent the business alone or attend with a more senior engineer to develop your experience at a wide range of meetings from client, design team, and site.

About the Role

The successful candidate can expect a salary of £45,000 - £75,000 per annum, dependent on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package including bonus, pension, contribution to studies, professional subscriptions, private medical, flexible working. Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer who has a Degree / HND / HNC in Electrical Engineering, although not essential. The ideal candidate will have design experience in Electrical building design systems, be a confident user of a range of software such as Amtech, Dialux, or Relux, and have an enthusiasm for continued learning and development.
