Nursery Teacher Role

Wayman Education is working with a vibrant and fun primary school seeking a proactive and emotionally intelligent Nursery Teacher.

The school aspires to develop well-rounded, confident pupils through a supportive pastoral environment, and we are seeking a primary teacher who knows how to drive attainment and create engaging lessons.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide pastoral care to children in the Early Years Foundation Stage, promoting teamwork and a conducive learning environment.
  • Teach the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum to groups of children, focusing on individual learning targets and encouraging strengths and weaknesses.
  • Develop maths ability and introduce fractions, statistics, and geometry.
  • Help children develop their writing ability by creating plots, characters, and settings for stories.
  • Track children's progress and report back to parents.
