Job Title: Financial Business Partner

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Business Partner to join our Commercial Finance team at Allianz. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the Commercial business in all aspects of finance, including expense management, budgeting, revenue planning, and financial advice.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ownership of monthly revenue and expense reporting and forecasting processes, including communication to key stakeholders
  2. Participation in the annual expense budgeting process
  3. Collaboration with the Commercial business to model new broker opportunities
  4. Broker override and profit share calculations
  5. Business performance and results evaluation and reporting
  6. Ad-hoc queries and requests from across the business
  7. Corporate projects and initiatives
Requirements:
  1. Good working knowledge of management accounting techniques
  2. Proven record of providing advice and support to senior stakeholders
  3. Experience of working with colleagues from non-finance areas of a business
  4. Advanced Excel skills, comfortable dealing with large volumes of data, and experience of automating and improving complex numerical models
  5. Some existing knowledge of Insurance would be beneficial
  6. Aptitude for systems work is desirable
  7. Strong intellect and ability to see the big picture across the business
  8. Ability to interact and collaborate credibly at all levels in the organisation, including at senior management level
  9. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  10. Self-motivated, positive, and innovative, with ability to use initiative and provide constructive challenge where necessary
  11. Ability to work under pressure and achieve deadlines
  12. Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  13. CIMA/ACCA qualified
  14. Degree in relevant subject (Maths, Economics, Finance) preferred
