Job Title: Tree Officer

Carrington West is seeking an experienced Tree Officer to join our Green Space team in Surrey. This is a unique opportunity to work with a local authority and contribute to the maintenance and development of urban green spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice on tree care and management to the Green Space team.
  • Conduct site visits to assess tree health and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement tree care plans to ensure the long-term health and sustainability of urban green spaces.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience working in a local authority or similar environment.
  • Strong knowledge of tree care and management principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive hourly rate of £35-40 per hour.
  • A flexible working arrangement with a minimum of 37 hours per week.
