About the Role

Lloyd's is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our International Regulatory Affairs (IRA) department as an Associate, Regulatory Content and Advice. This is a fixed-term contract for 10 months, and the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the provision of international regulatory and compliance guidance to the Lloyd's market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide international regulatory guidance to the market on regulatory and business conduct requirements and Lloyd's trading rights.
  • Support the market on regulatory and business conduct requirements and Lloyd's trading rights.
  • Provide training on Lloyd's regulatory tools, including Crystal, Risk Locator, and Stamp Decision Tool.
  • Support the technical maintenance of LITA's regulatory tools and identify, communicate, and resolve issues when they arise.
  • Publish regulatory and sanctions communications, including the Weekly Digest, e-Alerts, Market Bulletins, and IRA content on Lloyds.com.
  • Conduct regular reviews of LITA's policies and procedure guides and maintain and enhance these as required.
  • Support LITA's access framework by managing subscription services and the user bases and responding promptly to access queries from the market.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with legislative/regulatory analysis is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with the workings of Lloyd's regulatory toolkit and management information/statistical production is advantageous.
  • Effective relationship building and networking skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment as part of a team.
  • Ability to analyse and resolve business/regulatory issues and improve processes.
  • Written and oral communication skills.
  • An organised and flexible approach to work assignments, and an ability to handle a range of priorities and tasks in parallel.
  • Accountability and proactivity.
  • Ability to cope with change in a positive and constructive manner.
