Senior Social Worker - Children with Disabilities

We are seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities team in Enfield. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children with complex needs and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of children's needs and develop effective care plans
  • Work closely with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children
  • Carry out complex safeguarding risk assessments and provide guidance on risk management
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with children, families, and other stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of the team's social work practice and policies
Requirements:
  • Post-qualifying experience as a Social Worker in a Children with Disabilities team
  • Strong knowledge of social care legislation and policies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Enhanced DBS/CRB clearance
