About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Transportation Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Aylesbury and surrounding areas.

This temporary seasonal position offers 45 hours per week and a competitive rate of £14.50 per hour.

Responsibilities:
  • Safely deliver, install, and demonstrate White Goods, Televisions, and Cookers to customers' properties.
  • Provide excellent customer service, engaging with customers and ensuring their delivery and installation meet high standards.
  • Communicate effectively with your site team, addressing any changes to customer delivery requests.
  • Utilize the handheld operating device (Savvy) correctly, completing visits and obtaining customer signatures.
  • Liaise with manufacturers at the point of delivery when necessary.
  • Prioritize product safety and handling, supporting colleagues to do the same.
  • Meet the physical demands of the role.
  • Stay current with continuous professional development, maintaining your driving license and required training and knowledge.
  • Effectively manage changing loads in the vehicle, reviewing, adjusting, and securing them for safety.
  • Comply with all relevant transport legislation and law.
  • Work within established driving regulations, site-specific requirements, and company policies to ensure customer and colleague safety.
  • Drive safely, showing respect and courtesy to other road users.
  • Represent the Currys brand, embodying our values and demonstrating customer-first behaviors.
  • Deliver and collect tote boxes and products from retail stores.
