Autism Primary Teacher

Pertemps Education Network is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Primary Teacher to join our team in a full-time capacity. The successful candidate will be working in the London Borough of Camden, starting in September 2024.
About the RoleThis is a permanent contract, and the ideal candidate will have experience working with special needs children. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is a requirement for this position. The school specializes in supporting children with speech, language, and communication needs, primarily in Key Stage 1 and 2.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging lessons for students with autism and other special needs
- Collaborate with the school team to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of school policies
The successful candidate will be required to complete a safeguarding survey and provide documentation for the vetting process. This will include, but is not limited to, proof of address, satisfactory references, and a DBS check.
