We are seeking a Recreation Assistant to join our team at Places Leisure. As a Recreation Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and safety of our community center, including cleaning duties and preparing activity areas for planned sessions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the health and safety of the center at all times
  • Carry out cleaning duties and prepare activity areas for planned sessions
  • Ensure all equipment is stored safely and securely when not in use
  • Work alongside the Duty Manager and report any matters of concern
  • Carry out patrols to ensure the center is safe and secure

Requirements

  • Friendly and approachable manner
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic first aid skills and experience
  • Previous experience in a similar role
