We are looking for a skilled Railway Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Manchester, UK. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering Electrical and Power (E&P) works against the established programme.

You will work closely with the E&P Works Package Manager to ensure all documentation is correctly prepared and in line with NR and health and safety procedures, supporting E&P deliverables within a multidiscipline Rail environment.

This is a permanent, on-site working role with opportunities for career growth and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver numerous E&P projects in line with the programme budget, controlling and implementing health, safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
  • Contribute to plan development with the Project Manager and Project Engineer, planning day-to-day requirements of the Project Works Package.
  • Lead an installation team, including subcontractors, suppliers, and third parties.
  • Implement health, safety, environmental, and quality standards into construction planning and works.
  • Assess and mitigate all risks associated with working within the railway environment.
  • Create work package plans, task briefing sheets, and manage them through to acceptance.
  • Manage and compile BS7671 and other standard test results, create ITPs, and include safe switching, isolation, and re-energisation procedures through to acceptance.
