Teaching Opportunity at Birkbeck University of London

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Lecturer to join our team at the School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the module Mathematical Explorations, which is a core part of our undergraduate program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality teaching to students, including lectures, tutorials, and assessments.
  • Develop and maintain course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assessment instruments.
  • Assess student performance and provide feedback.
  • Contribute to the development of the module and the School's curriculum.
Requirements:
  • PhD in Mathematics or a related field.
  • Proven teaching experience at the undergraduate level.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
