Role Overview

The Night Auditor is a key member of our hotel team, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations. As a Night Auditor, you will be working closely with our Operations Manager and Night Duty Manager to consolidate accounts, review daily sales transactions, and maintain a presence on reception throughout the night.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consolidate accounts for the day, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Review daily sales transactions, correctly posting revenue prior to running the night audit
  • Maintain a presence on reception, dealing with in-house guest requests and checking in late arrivals
  • Conduct regular reservations checks, ensuring correct revenue posting and accurate data capture
  • Ensure the safety and security of the hotel and guests, conducting fire safety/security walks throughout the night
  • Perform occasional housekeeping duties, including function rooms, public areas, rest rooms, and facilities for the following day
  • Provide occasional F&B support

Requirements

  • An enthusiastic individual with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service
  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in the food and beverage industry or hospitality sector
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficient in computer software, MS Office Suite, and F&B management systems
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and adapt to changing priorities
