Job Overview

The University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Healthcare Assistant to join its Urology team. As a key member of the outpatient team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the smooth running of clinics.

Main Duties

As a Healthcare Assistant in the Urology outpatient setting, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with patient care and procedures to ensure the effective delivery of services
  • Working collaboratively with a small team of Urology clinical nurse specialists to achieve shared goals
  • Participating in the planning and development of the service in accordance with Trust policies and procedures

Person Specification

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant, preferably in a similar setting
  • A willingness to learn and develop new skills, particularly in the area of urology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders
