About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Catering Manager to join our team at Exemplar Health Care. As a Catering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our catering services, ensuring that our residents receive high-quality food and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement menus that cater to the dietary needs and preferences of our residents
  • Manage the catering team, including recruitment, training, and performance management
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and supplies
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure that our residents' nutritional needs are met

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a care home or hospitality setting
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
