We are seeking a skilled Plumber Water Hygiene Specialist to join our team at Environmental. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about water hygiene management and compliance.
About the Role:
This position will involve working within the guidance provided by ACOP L8 and associated company documents, ensuring that any plant worked on is safe and free from the risks presented by Legionella.
The duties of this role will include, but not be limited to:
- Carrying out planned plumbing and maintenance remedial works to hot and cold water systems across our customer properties, including water storage tanks refurbishment, hot water cylinder replacements, hot and cold pipework alterations, cleaning & disinfections, etc.
- Working in accordance with Water Regulations and in line with the HSG274 & ACoP L8 as instructed.
- Identifying deviations and making recommendations for corrective action.
- Acting as liaison between client and head office.
- Ensuring that on-site records are maintained in line with the scope of works.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:
- NVQ Level 2 Plumbing/Technical Certificate or equivalent.
- Water Regulations knowledge.
- Unvented Hot Water (G3) certification.
- Confident communication skills.
- Good time management.
- Strong problem-solving skills.

Estimated Salary Range: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum.
