About the RoleWe are seeking a compassionate and patient tutor to provide one-to-one support to young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. As a tutor with Teaching Personnel, you will work with students who require additional support to access education and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities- Provide one-to-one tuition to students with SEMH needs, focusing on their individual learning goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement tailored lesson plans to meet the needs of each student, incorporating English, Maths, and Life Skills.
- Work collaboratively with our experienced team to ensure seamless support and guidance for students.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Qualifications: QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience: Previous experience working with students with SEMH needs, or a strong understanding of the challenges faced by these students.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, patience, compassion, and resilience.
- Competitive hourly rate: £25-£30 per hour.
