About Harrington Starr: We are a leading sports trading business, seeking a talented Quantitative Sports Professional to join our newly formed quant team. As a Quantitative Sports Professional, you will be part of a highly skilled group of technologists with extensive experience in sports and geographies.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile projects, leveraging your knowledge of statistical and modelling expertise to drive business growth. Your strong analytical skills and proficiency in Python or R will enable you to develop and implement advanced models that drive accurate predictions and decision-making.

The role offers a highly competitive base salary of approximately £60,000 per annum, with strong bonus potential. You will also have the opportunity to work in a hybrid or remote setting, suitable for those with significant experience in sports trading. We estimate that the total compensation package for this role could be up to £80,000 per annum.

To succeed in this role, you should have a minimum BSc in a STEM or quantitative discipline (2:1 or above), as well as prior experience in sports modelling in a professional setting.
