Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Vocational Trainer/Assessor to join our team. As a key member of our training team, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding vocational training and assessing learners' progress towards achieving their qualifications/learning objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver vocational qualifications in Employability skills
  • Manage classroom pace and discipline
  • Assess learners' competence and progress
  • Provide training in CV development and interview skills
  • Offer guidance on sector-specific skills
  • Ensure compliance with quality assurance procedures
Requirements:
  • Relevant vocational qualification in Employability or related field
  • Recognised assessor qualification (e.g., CAVA, AVA, A1, D32/33)
  • Proven experience in delivering vocational training
  • Strong knowledge of CV writing and interview techniques
  • Familiarity with at least one sector-specific area
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS)
  • Industry experience in one or more sector-specific areas
  • Internal Quality Assurance qualification (e.g., V1, IQA)

This is a hybrid role, requiring flexibility and the ability to deliver face-to-face and remotely.
