Strategic Finance Leader for Pratap Partnership Ltd

An experienced Interim Finance Manager is required to lead the Finance team of Pratap Partnership Ltd, a forward-thinking organisation in central York.

Company Overview:

Pratap Partnership Ltd is an established company seeking a collaborative and high-performance leader to support strategic financial initiatives across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage the Finance team, fostering a collaborative culture and high standards.
  2. Act as deputy for the CFO and support with the production of Annual Reports and Accounts.
  3. Oversee monthly management accounts, KPI reporting, and provide in-depth financial analysis for internal stakeholders.
  4. Serve as the primary contact for external auditors to ensure a smooth audit process.
  5. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of quarterly VAT returns, statutory returns, and payroll oversight.
  6. Work alongside the CFO to evaluate financial risks, ensuring compliance with financial procedures and Standing Financial Instructions.
  7. Provide systems support to project and line managers and assist with financial queries and reporting.
  8. Maintain quarterly balance sheet reconciliations and ensure discrepancies are addressed promptly.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  1. Strong financial management experience, with a track record of team leadership in a collaborative environment.
  2. Highly skilled in producing financial reports, managing audits, and statutory compliance.
  3. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and support a positive culture.
  4. Relevant professional qualifications and extensive experience in finance, ideally with exposure to project and charity finance.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
