### Job Title: Assistant Service Manager

### Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Service Manager to join our team at Group 1 Automotive. As a key member of our service department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dealership's service division.

### Key Responsibilities

* Assist the Service Manager in leading, managing, and motivating a team of automotive professionals to ensure the dealership is adequately resourced
* Help drive a high-performance culture, ensuring performance is rewarded and underperformance is managed
* Oversee the service division, managing resource levels and productivity
* Accurately assist with dealership reporting, in line with group reporting frameworks
* Support the dealership to consistently achieve high levels of customer satisfaction
* Ensure dealership activities are conducted in line with Marshall Motor Group, manufacturer, and regulatory requirements

### Requirements

* Experience within the automotive industry is advantageous
* Excellent organisation skills, with experience in high-level reporting
* Experience working in an agile environment, where you have responded quickly to changing business needs
* An open and approachable leadership style, with experience motivating & coaching staff members
