About the Role

FitzRoy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in a supported living service. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting and encouraging independence for individuals with learning disabilities and/or physical disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized support to individuals with varying needs and interests.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and household chores.
  • Encourage and support individuals to engage in activities and hobbies that promote their well-being and independence.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a high-quality service is delivered.

What We Offer

  • A competitive hourly rate of £12.13 per hour for weekdays and £13.43 per hour for weekends.
  • Additional £2.50 per hour for overtime.
  • Time and a half or double time for public holidays.
  • Sleep-ins are £50 per night.
  • 30 days holiday when you start.
  • Full-time and part-time positions available.

Requirements

  • No previous care experience is necessary, as long as you have the right values and are willing to learn and develop your skills.
  • Able to work a set pattern of morning and afternoon shifts, with some weekend working required.
