Job Title: Physician Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Associate to join our team at 24/7 OEMS. As a Physician Associate, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in our Emergency Department.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work under the supervision of an Emergency Department Physician, providing patient care in accordance with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) Bylaws. You will be an effective member of our multidisciplinary team, working collaboratively with nursing, respiratory therapists, and allied health professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care in accordance with CPSBC Bylaws
  • Function as an effective member of the multidisciplinary team
  • Participate in standardized reporting as required by CPSBC and Island Health
Requirements
  • Two years' experience working in an emergency department setting
  • Must meet CPSBC's English language proficiency requirements
  • Must hold Canadian Citizenship, be a permanent resident, or be legally able to live and work in British Columbia
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (with current BLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (Advanced Pediatric Life Support may be considered)
