Senior Ranger Position
Eryri National Park Authority (ENPA) seeks a highly motivated and experienced Senior Ranger to join our team.
The park covers 823 square miles and is home to the highest mountain in Wales, the largest natural lake in Wales, and over 26,000 people.
The successful candidate will have experience in managing, leading, and motivating a team, with a strong background in countryside management and access issues.
The salary for this role is estimated to be around £42,000 - £52,000 per year, based on the location and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage staff, property, and projects within our warden service
- Ensure the effective delivery of countryside access, land management, and rights of way initiatives
- Develop annual work programmes and ensure all warden activities align with safety standards and statutory requirements
- Build relationships with local residents, agricultural communities, and conservation groups
Requirements:
- Ability to communicate in Welsh and English
- Experience of managing, leading, and motivating a team
- Experience of working with local authorities, landowners & managers, representative bodies, and voluntary agencies
- Experience of countryside management and access issues
Additional Information:
- Regular travel between sites and occasional regional travel may be required
- Occasional evening, weekend, and bank holiday work may be necessary
