Job Overview: At SmartPro, we are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to oversee the sourcing and procurement of materials, ensuring seamless production schedules.

Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing and Procurement: Identify and engage reliable suppliers, monitoring their performance to ensure compliance with delivery, cost, and quality standards.
  • Negotiations and Contracts: Conduct negotiations on pricing and contracts to optimise savings and fulfil contractual commitments.
  • Materials Management: Oversee the sourcing and procurement of materials, determining optimal delivery quantities and timelines to meet production demands.
  • Master Data Integrity: Ensure the integrity of Master Data in SAGE regarding pricing, lead times, and supplier contact details to support financial targets.
  • Strategic Pricing Insights: Deliver strategic pricing insights for customer RFQs to enhance market competitiveness.

About You: To be successful in this role, you will require a minimum of 5 years' experience in a purchasing or procurement role within a manufacturing environment. You will also need strong negotiation and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
