Job Summary
Magna International Inc. is seeking an experienced Control Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems for our production lines. As a key member of our engineering team, you will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to optimize process efficiency and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • System Design and Implementation: Collaborate with engineers and technicians to design, develop, and install control systems that meet production requirements.
  • Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Identify and resolve equipment issues, perform routine maintenance tasks, and ensure all safety protocols are followed.
  • Process Optimization: Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Requirements:
Skill and Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; two or four-year degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Four years of experience in electrical engineering or related field, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of electrical principles, control systems, and automation technologies. Proficient in PLC programming languages (e.g., Ladder Logic). Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders. Physical ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 40 pounds.
