Job Title: Experienced Machinist Craftsman

Description: As an experienced Machinist Craftsman at Morson Talent, you will be responsible for conducting machining activities on-board submarine units. This role requires a strong understanding of machining techniques, as well as excellent communication skills to develop people within the team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Machining activities on-board submarine units.
  • Transferring information to others and improving their performance.
  • Interpreting engineering data and documentation.
  • Managing waste and handling materials manually.

Requirements:

  • Apprenticeship in machinist or related field.
  • NVQ Level 3 equivalent qualification in relevant subject.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Conditions: Onboard submarine units

Salary: Estimated £40,000 - £50,000 per annum
