Job Title: Teacher of Science

Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Location: St Albans area.

This Science teaching role is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher to join our successful Science department. As a Teacher of Science, you will be responsible for delivering engaging KS3 and KS4 Science lessons, monitoring student progress, and working collaboratively with colleagues.

About the Role

We require a skilled Teacher of Science to teach Science lessons to students aged 11-16, planning and delivering high-quality lessons, and assessing student progress. The ideal candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), experience teaching Secondary age pupils, and a degree or higher in a relevant field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching KS3 and KS4 Science lessons
  • Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students
  • Monitoring student progress and evaluating lesson effectiveness
  • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons
