Maths Teacher for SEMH School

Prospero Teaching is working with a small, independent SEMH school in Preston who are seeking a qualified Maths teacher to support their learners. The school caters to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) challenges.

The successful candidate will have a good degree classification, preferably in Mathematics, and Secondary QTS in Maths. They will also have previous experience working with young people and teaching in a Secondary School. Up-to-date Safeguarding and Prevent awareness training are essential.

The role is to start ASAP and will be on-going. The hours will be 8:30am to 4:30pm (term time only). The minimum rate of pay is from £160 per day.

Prospero Teaching is acting as an employment business/education recruitment agency in relation to this vacancy. The successful candidate will be required to register and have passed all safeguarding/vetting checks with Prospero Teaching in order to fill this vacancy.
