Class 1 Driver Job Description

Ideal Recruit Ltd is seeking a skilled Class 1 driver to join our team in Skelmersdale. As a Class 1 driver, you will be responsible for operating curtain-sided trailers for general haulage, depot deliveries, and collections.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence with a minimum of 1 year of experience
  • Be in possession of a valid CPC and Tacho card
  • Operate curtain-sided trailers for general haulage, depot deliveries, and collections
Pay Rates:
  • Monday - Friday days: £16.25 (holiday included)
  • Monday - Friday nights: £16.81 (holiday included)
  • Saturday: £19.05 (holiday included)
  • Sunday: £19.95 (holiday included)
  • Night out: £25
What We Offer:
  • Minimum 8 hours of work per day guaranteed
  • Various start times and shift patterns available
  • Tramping and ad-hoc opportunities available
  • Part-time weekends-only option available
