Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Retail Merchandiser to join our team in West Yorkshire. As a key member of our department, you will drive sales, stock turn, markdown, and profit through the construction of commercial ranges.

  1. You will be responsible for planning, managing, and achieving targeted measures of sales, stock turn, markdown, and profit.
  2. You will deliver a friendly service and encourage everyone to achieve their maximum potential.
  3. You will take personal responsibility and accountability for your actions, striving to improve and exceed expectations while ensuring safety and quality are never compromised.

Key Requirements

  • You should be educated to degree level (or equivalent).
  • Ideally, you will have working experience as a Junior Merchandiser, Merchandiser, or similar.
  • You must possess numerical and analytical skills, an understanding of range planning, and a working knowledge of forecasting principles.
  • You should have a good understanding of the key elements of the Buying Cycle, organizational skills, decision-making skills, and communication skills.
  • You will be IT literate and capable of managing change.
