Job Description

Pilgrim's Europe is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Air-conditioning Technical Operations Director.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, with experience in leading factory operations and implementing quality management systems. They should also possess excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as a passion for driving continuous improvement.

About the Role

This is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing the air-conditioning technical operations within our designated factory. The successful candidate will be expected to ensure that all technical standards are met, including animal welfare, food safety, product quality, and customer satisfaction.

We are looking for someone who can identify and implement new technologies to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency. The ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including NPD and operational excellence functions, is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leverage quality management expertise to drive continuous improvement initiatives across the factory
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and partners to ensure seamless integration of new technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency
  • Provide technical guidance and support to factory staff on air-conditioning related matters
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A 3rd level qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent
  • Proven experience in quality management at factory leadership team level
  • Strong understanding of commercial and customer dynamics
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and organisational skills
  • Team leadership qualities and ability to motivate and engage staff
