Job Summary

This is a full-time position that requires the fabrication of structural steel components for naval vessels.

  • Fabrication of structural steel components, including cutting, drilling, and welding.
  • Interpretation of engineering drawings and work instructions.
  • Highly competent in the use of hand-held and semi-automatic burning equipment.
  • Experience working within the marine, shipbuilding, ship repair, nuclear or oil & gas industries preferred.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A qualification in sheet metal, structural steel, or fabrication related discipline.
  • Essential experience of reading engineering drawings and interpreting work instructions.
  • Highly competent in the use of general workshop machinery and tools specific to fabricating.
