About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team at HeliosX Group. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing the group's financial accounting and controllership functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ownership of group management accounts consolidation and preparation of key financial reports
  • Collaboration with the Senior Financial Accountant to deliver high-quality financial analysis and insights
  • Preparation and posting of key judgemental and statutory journals for compliance with GAAP
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliation reviews with the team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Ownership of internal and external audit processes, resolving auditor queries and requests in a timely manner
  • Improvement of weekly cash flow forecasting and treasury management processes
  • Ensuring all tax filings and compliance requirements are up to date for the group
  • Implementation and adherence to key financial processes and controls across the group
Requirements
  • Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent) with at least one year post-qualified financial accounting experience
  • Proven experience in end-to-end management accounting, alongside experience in general ledger functions, and balance sheet control
  • Experience in multi-entity accounting is essential, ideally alongside experience in an international and/or high-growth business
  • Experience coaching/mentoring junior team members on best practice and process improvements
  • High levels of data literacy, with strong Excel/Google Sheet proficiency
  • Credible communications skills, with the ability to articulate management reporting actuals and variances to budget to Finance and non-financial stakeholders
