Senior Estimator Opportunity

A leading Main Contractor is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Estimator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge and expertise in estimating software, Microsoft Excel, and construction experience.

About the Role

The Senior Estimator will be responsible for:

  1. Preparing and submitting tender packages, and thoroughly evaluating subcontractor returns.
  2. Collaborating with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure accurate estimations.
  3. Utilizing estimating software to generate comprehensive and precise cost estimates.
  4. Analyzing and interpreting data to accurately determine project scope and resource requirements.
  5. Assisting with project scheduling and timeline development.
  6. Developing and maintaining relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
  7. Experience pricing projects from £500k - £10m in value.
  8. Fully competent with package analysis and proficient in standard forms of contract, including JCT.
  9. Proficient use of IT, including Microsoft Office and estimating packages/tools.
  10. Ability to manage a high volume of workload and have a flexible approach.
