Job Description

Our client, a leading global investment firm, is seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Analyst to join their team of experienced Portfolio Managers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with alternative data sets, applying them to predict underlying company Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the management and scaling-up of a quantamental, mid-frequency equities portfolio
  • Research and develop new signals, including idea generation, data ingestion, research, and trading
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and implement data-driven insights to inform investment decisions
Requirements:
  • 3-4+ years of experience working directly with alternative data sets
  • Experience with equities and equities data, including alternative data, market data, and fundamental data
  • Strong expertise in Python, with experience in a production setting
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, and working knowledge of multiple AWS services
  • Experience working in a Linux environment and with DevOps tools
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with web-scraping and data ingestion
  • Knowledge of execution, TCA, and commercial risk-models
  • Specific sector expertise in the context of alternative data
