About the Role

This employed trainee financial planner position is a rare opportunity to join a modern financial planning firm that uses evidence-based investing. The firm has a team ethos reflected in their bonus scheme and offers a decent benefits package, including life assurance and income protection, as well as 25 days' holiday and additional days off over Christmas.

Key Responsibilities
  • As a paraplanner, you will be responsible for supporting the financial planning team and assisting with the preparation of financial plans.
  • With the interest and capability to become a financial planner, you will have the opportunity to progress to a financial planning role within 12-18 months.
  • You will need to have experience in matters such as capital gains tax, investment bond encashments, and tapered annual allowance.
Requirements
  • You will be a paraplanner with a passion for financial planning and a desire to achieve Certified/Chartered status.
  • You will need to be able to work in a team environment and have excellent communication skills.
  • You will be required to have a strong understanding of financial planning concepts and be able to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
