Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking an experienced Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our Crisis & Home Treatment teams in Shrewsbury & Telford. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert psychological assessment and reports to referrers of individuals with a wide range of psychological problems, adhering to codes of professional ethics.
You will be responsible for offering clinical supervision and teaching to the multidisciplinary team, as well as providing staff support and reflective practice on an ad-hoc basis. Opportunities to supervise assistant psychologists will also be available.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert psychological assessment and reports to referrers of individuals with a wide range of psychological problems.
- Offer clinical supervision and teaching to the multidisciplinary team.
- Provide staff support and reflective practice on an ad-hoc basis.
- Supervise assistant psychologists.
- Work directly and indirectly with service users referred to the crisis and home treatment team.
We have close links with the Staffordshire Doctorate course and Keele TCAPS training programme, offering trainee placements. A generous relocation package of up to £8,000 is available for those interested in moving to our beautiful county. Other incentives include a welcome bonus of 10% of first year salary, paid in two installments.
As a member of our team, you will be supported via clinical supervision by the urgent care pathway consultant clinical psychologist and managerial supervision by the team manager. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with other psychology colleagues within the urgent care pathway.
